Can the other person see Unstuck AI when I share my screen?
No. macOS keeps the panel out of screen sharing, screen recordings and screenshots of the shared screen — whether you share your whole screen or a single window. It lives in the menu bar, so there's no Dock icon either.
Which call apps does it work with?
Any app that plays audio on your Mac — Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet in your browser and the rest. It listens to system audio, so no bot joins your call.
What do I need to run it?
A Mac with macOS 26 or later. Apple silicon (M1 or newer) is recommended for the fastest on-device transcription. Unstuck AI isn't available for Windows.
How fast are the answers?
It notices questions automatically and starts streaming the answer in about one to two seconds. Press ⌥⌘R to ask for an answer at any moment, or switch to Reasoning mode with ⌥⌘T for harder problems.
Which languages does it understand?
English only, for now.
How do I install it?
Download the zip, open it, drag Unstuck AI into Applications and open it. The first time, macOS asks for Screen & System Audio Recording and Speech Recognition. Full install steps.
Is my audio uploaded anywhere?
No. The conversation is transcribed on your Mac. When you ask for an answer — and only after you've allowed it — the question, the recent transcript and any screenshot you chose are sent to be answered, and aren't stored on our servers. Privacy policy.
How does the free trial work?
Download the app and sign in with your email to get 15 minutes free — no credit card required. The free time is once per person and Mac. After that, buy minutes only when you need them. See pricing.
Is it a subscription?
Only if you choose one. The Single Interview, Interview Pack and Career Pack are one-time payments, and their minutes never expire. Interview Plus is a monthly subscription (€19.99 for 600 minutes each month) that you can cancel anytime.
I have a beta code. What happens now?
Sign in to the app with your email, then redeem your code in Settings → Billing. Its minutes are added to your account.
Can I use it in a job interview?
Yes — that's what it's built for, and it works just as well in meetings and lectures. Use it lawfully: you must be 18 or over, tell people you're transcribing where that's required, and follow the rules set by the interviewer, employer, school or institution. See the terms.
